Japan Watch Quality with Leather Strap

Sapphire Crystal-Glass

Sapphire crystal is one of the most popular types of glass, especially when the concern is to create a luxury watch. It is considered as the strongest and most scratch resistant material for a glass, making it the first choice for a perfect timepiece. Sapphire crystals are developed from a synthetic compound bearing the same properties as sapphires in their natural form. That is the reason why it is more expensive among the three glass types.

Stainless Steel-316L

Stainless steel 316L is the second most corrosion resistant alloy of steel that is frequently used today. This steel is not easily hardened by heat treatment but it has excellent machinability. Although other materials are also used, stainless steel 316L gives rigidity at an optimum price. Stainless steel 316L contains less carbon than 316.

Japan Movement

The movement is basically what makes a watch. A Japan movement is also known as a quartz movement. The launch of this new technology challenged many traditional watchmakers, who used to rely on mechanical movements to support their watches. It is an electrical movement powered by a battery that does not need human intervention to keep it going. It is much more durable than other movements.

Waterproof-5 ATM

This grading refers to the resistance that it offers against water. If a watch is said to be Waterproof-5ATM, it means one can swim in shallow water while wearing it. Here, ATM means the amount of atmospheric pressure it can withstand. The stamp of being waterproof should be visible on the watch.

Genuine Leather Strap

The first watches had straps made from the natural sources, including leather. It was less expensive and readily available. Even today, genuine leather is much more in demand because of its resistance to various environmental factors. It is much more durable than synthetic leather.
